Zelle Pay - Great idea, terrible follow through

New ReviewerThis app is great in theory. Problem is they have 2 completely separate ways of handling banking.
If you use a bank that is zelle fluent, it only uses your phone number and the phone numbers of those you give and receive with. If you are non-zelle fluent then it uses your email address and the email address of those you give and receive with. These two systems do not overlap, and zelle refuses to fix this for you. Also there is no way of knowing this unless this happens to you.
Further more, zelle has no link to customer service or anything like that unless you do get an email from them. When you finally get on the phone with them their only way of helping you is to describe their self imposed limitations and explain that they don't actually fix this problem they just tell you to go to your bank and they will fix it. Newsflash....
Your bank has no idea what you are talking about about and no idea how to fix it, they just tell you to contact the app customer service.... Again, great concept, just *** poor follow through.
